Yes – the OET exam board say: ” We will offer you a free deferral or a full refund.”

Can I have a refund even if my test isn’t cancelled?

If you decide you don’t want to take the OET exam due to the risks involved, you can ask to postpone to one of the two next available dates.

This means you won’t receive a refund but you can move your test to later in the year.

Can I wear a face mask during the exam?

Yes, you can wear a face mask during the exam. There are however a few things to consider:

  • You must remove your mask while having your ID checked.
  • OET examiners and staff may check the mask if they suspect cheating.
  • You can not take a spare mask into the exam room.
  • You must ensure the mask does not make it difficult to hear you during the speaking exam.

Will results be delayed?

So far, OET say they are up-to-date with results which will be submitted to candidates on time with no delays.
